I employ a diverse set of methodological tools in my research, ranging from reduced-form and structural econometrics, to dynamic numerical analysis and simulation, integrated bioeconomic modeling, and field experiments.
June 18, 2020 - 4:37pm Anonymous Tyler Scott, Ph.D.
Dr. Scott’s research focuses on institutional design and management strategies for improving environmental governance in complex institutional settings. A primary component of this work involves the use of inferential network analysis methods for understanding network governance processes and stakeholder coordination. Scott also uses computational methods such as automated text analysis to generate novel data from procedural documents and agent-based modeling to simulate policy system behavior.
December 17, 2019 - 5:38pm Deedee Shideler Ryan Meyer, Ph.D.
I direct the Center for Community and Citizen Science at the UC Davis School of Education. Our mission is to help scientists, communities, and citizens collaborate on science to address environmental problems as a part of civic life.

My background is in science and technology policy, with a focus on science funding institutions, and the role of science in decision making.
