Dormitories And Bunkrooms
Our dormitories and bunkroom provide affordable, communal accommodations ideal for large groups and classes and feature shared common areas for entertainment and study.
Miwok Dorm
The Miwok Dormitory features 11 double-occupancy rooms, each furnished with two twin beds, two desks, dressers, a closet, and a private bathroom. It also includes a small gym in the south end room and an entertainment room in the north end room.
Tokau Dorm
The Tokau Dormitory features eight double-occupancy rooms, each furnished with two twin beds, two desks, dressers, a closet, and a private bathroom. A communal end room offers a shared space for entertainment, equipped with a couch, chairs, a smart TV, and cleaning supplies.
Oolok Dorm
The Oolok Dormitory features eight double-occupancy rooms, each furnished with two twin beds, a desk, and an armoire. Residents share three central bathrooms with showers. A shared kitchen is available for guest use, and a common living room provides a comfortable gathering space with two couches, additional seating, and a large-screen smart TV.
Pakuna Bunkroom
The Pakuna Bunkroom is our most budget-friendly housing option, featuring a single large room with eight bunk beds, accommodating up to 16 people. Residents share a central bathroom equipped with three stall toilets and a communal shower.
Lodge And Duplex Housing
Bodega Marine Laboratory offers comfortable housing options for faculty, long-term visitors, and families through its Lodge rooms and Duplex apartments. These accommodations provide essential amenities for both short and extended stays.
Lodge Rooms
The Lodge serves as faculty housing and offers six hotel-style rooms, with linens provided for both beds and bathrooms. The building includes three rooms with two twin beds and three rooms with queen beds. A shared kitchen is available for guest use.
Duplexes - Heron & Primrose
Designed for family accommodations or long-term stays of up to three months, the Heron and Primrose duplexes are fully furnished two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments. They include all essential amenities except clothing and food, providing a home-like environment for extended visits.
Shared Amenities
Bodega Marine Laboratory housing offers a variety of amenities to support residents during their stay. The gym, located on the south side of the Miwok building, includes weight sets, stationary bicycles, a treadmill, and more. An outdoor basketball court is available next to the Oolok dorm, and residents can enjoy meals in the dining hall or gather at the outdoor picnic tables. A laundromat is conveniently located outside the main foyer of the dining hall.
