Physiology

At the Coastal and Marine Sciences Institute, scientists are investigating how marine organisms navigate a changing world. By studying physiological responses—from hormonal shifts to altered growth patterns—we quantify the impact of environmental stressors like hypoxia, temperature spikes, and ocean acidification on the health of our coastal ecosystems.
