Moose O'Donnell, PhD

Moose O'Donnell is the Deputy Director of CMSI. An intertidal ecologist with interests in biomechanics, ecology, and global change issues, Moose has researched ocean acidification, wave mechanics, and biological materials. His long interest in science policy included working as a Senior Scientist at California Ocean Science Trust, helping monitor the state network of MPAs and working on the multi-state Ocean Acidification and Hypoxia science panel. He is also interested in bringing academic research to medical care, most recently directing the UC Berkeley + UCSF Master of Translational Medicine program.
