Daniel Speer

I am generally interested in biological responses to physical pressures. I look to investigate organismal behavior through the physics of its lipid membrane. I want to utilize both chemical forces and known molecular machinery to manipulate lipid self-assembly and dynamics. Outside of the lab, I love to surf, play ultimate frisbee, and advocate for the ocean's health.
